Patna University Principal & Assistant Professors Recruitment 2011

Patna University, Patna, Bihar, has invited applications from experienced Indian citizens for recruitment 2011, for College of Arts & Crafts. The recruitment is to be done for the following positions:

• Principal
• Assistant Professors (Fine Arts / Painting / Applied Arts / Sculpture / History of Art / Photography / Graphic)

Selection of the candidates will be made on the basis of written test followed by viva voce. The written test is scheduled to be held on January 7, 2012 and viva voce is scheduled for January 8, 2012. Eligibility:

Principal

• Master’s Degree in the relevant discipline with minimum 55% marks in aggregate from a recognized University / Institute
• PhD Degree in relevant discipline from a recognized University
• Should have evidence of Published Work and Research Guidance
• Minimum 15 years of teaching / research / administration experience as an Associate Professor / Professor in Universities / Colleges / Institutions
• Must have the minimum score as specified in the Academic Performance Indicator (API) based Performance Based Appraisal System (PBAS) set out in the UGC Regulations of 2010 in Appendix III

Assistant Professors (Fine Arts)

• Master’s Degree in the relevant discipline with minimum 55% marks in aggregate from a recognized University / Institute
• Candidates should have qualified NET / SLET / SET, conducted by UGC/CSIR
• Candidates having PhD degree, are exempted from the condition of qualifying the NET / SLET / SET examinations
